Funny you mention electricamp as I've been considering this for the last week or so. ELECTRIC Amp 6x12 Speaker Cabinet for Pro Audio Musicians
I absolutely have zero NEED for that being in an apartment and not in a band currently...but damn is that cool. Get 2 crate powerblocks and 2 yamaha majicstomp II's cheaply on ebay and SHAZAM! ![]() I dont know if youve been to the splawn forum, but lots of complaints about speakers over there. |

Thats with speakers...it's still a lot, but a new orange 4x12 is like 950, and you can get one of the electricamp ones in white with other options as youd like.
From the site: EMPTY Loud Speaker Cabinets [no speakers] 2x12 $ 690 4x12 $ 750 6x12 $ 850 2x15 $ 750 ...all the prices are including shipping loaded or not. Any way you look at it this is going to be pricey cause you want specific colours / speaker combos. earcandy cabs maybe? I cant find what they use to build their cabs with, or what kind of joints they use but I've heard good things about the sound. |

Earcandy cabs are incredible sounding! He wouldn't need the 2x15 to go with them if he got one. They have as much or more bass than most 4x12s! They build them out of what you tell them to. You pick the wood, tolex, grill, speakers, etc... 100% custom.
