Matt's pedlaboard build thread

So I decided on building a Pedalboard in tech class for a project.

I started today, and each day I get 2 and a half hours to work on it. This isn't some half-assed chicken shit plywood P.O.S.

I'm going to make it out of ash in the style of pedaltrain boards.

I'll update with pics and such as I progress.

Today I Bought the wood, cut it up:

Oh, also:

Some piece of Ash I found in the scrap pile, that is the exact dimensions of one of the pieces I needed

God damn, that wood looks mighty thick for a pedal board.

i built my own too. it's the most ghetto thing you'll ever see, but i don't care. aesthetics don't really mean much to me and it serves it's purpose.... which is to pwn and it does

Now that's gonna be a tough pedal board!

Now if someone runs on stage while your playing a Pantara cover song you got yourself a nice shield/weapon nearby.

Lol, that's the rough cut wood. It's 1" thick, but I have to plane it down to 3/4".

I wrote about the same comment in Adam's 8 build months ago.

There was actually a guy working on making a steel pedalboard in my metal shop class- I might make one myself, but the only thing I would have on it would be my GNX3K.

Building your own is the way to go

I love mine. Built it for under $50 dollars, and that includes the daisy chain wiring

Mine was $24 for the supplies

Wood, power strip, screws, handles, velcro, and super glue. I now have my pedals, my footswitch, my wireless unit and a powersurge all on it. It's ridiculously convenient and organized
