![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Silver Jubilee Marshalls are a large 2-12 cab, IIRC. What head is he running? I would go for the Mesa or the Marshall 1960B(B=straight cab), based on what works better with the amp he's got. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, the Jubilee isn't a bad cab, just sort of more of a collector's piece than anything, which is why it's so high priced. Anyway you can drag the guys amp out, and try the cabs before buying? The guy might love V30s, or hate them. The Mesa cab is probably the best made cab in the list, but I would never buy it because I hate V30s. ![]() For cheap but decent with a Marshall, I'd go for the 1960 over the Peaveys. |

If it's an older Peavey, you could probably drop it off a building and not hurt it. The newer ones aren't as well made. Then again, you can always buy the Mesa and switch the speakers. Is it the "oversize" or "vintage" (smaller) cab? However, the 1960 works pretty well with Marshalls... |
