I've tried one. i like the 2101 a bit more. Despite what Dave and Mike say, they are great units
I got some pretty serious tones through it. Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high, Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie, Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally. Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread Its branches like a Temple overhead. ~Charles Baudelaire http://www.myspace.com/impurity Brutal Skullfucking Death Metal |

I have a 2112 which is basically the same thing but without the artist presets. I like it, it has some cool synth sounds and it's very tweakable.

I have a 2112 with the artist upgrade chip, so it's basically a 2120.
You'll love it. If you actually sit down with this thing for a few hours, the possibilities are endless. Parametric EQ's are your friend. Be sure to use a module that at least has enough memory to use a parametric eq on sounds you really like, because this can be a night or day feature. Also, if you're running stereo, be sure to make sure the unit is in stereo. For the first couple of YEARS I had this thing, I had no clue, and one day I just happened upon the Stereo/Mono thing and a whole new world opened up to me. |

I had one. I miss it.
2120->Carvin TS100 was the best setup I ever had. And after that I had a Carvin V3, 5150, Mesa Mark IV. All nothing compared to the 2120/ts100 setup... Except the Mesa, if I had a delay pedal, and a non-fucked up used mark IV that is....
POOF!

I also own the 2112. I feel bad for it though because there is no possible way for me to use it to its fullest extent... It is definatly the most versital piece of equipment I've ever used. If only I could afford a tube powermp and a Vader cab...
