How about you wait 'til the HD100 head comes out and go out to try it? You'd be able to compare wich you like most.
It's tough to discuss this since nobody tried it yet (it's just came out) and i mean... Your ears are your ears, right?

Imo, i doubt it's gonna beat the JSX, wich is an amp that got a lot of praise.

I can't imagine the Spider Valve beating the JSX.

if the spider valve head ends up sounding better than a jsx i will actually rub shit in my own hair, no chance.

By the sounds of it its decent for overdriven tones does clean all right but is nightmare time for high gain distortion.
