Besure to clean the tubes before you put them in! install them with a soft cloth! Finger prints/oil on them = need new tubes.

Ok, here's a quick tone i conjured into a short clip. It's channel 3 (lo lead). The jute grill on the new 4x12 cuts a lot of hi end hiss too, which is perfect for my brightass recordings. This clip is raw as hell. No post EQ or comp. Just guitars/bass/and drums.

Didn't you have to put the tubes in your amp already? You can handle this, pumpkin.

Your manual, or maybe even the inside or back of the amp, should have a tube chart. You're looking for the first preamp tube, labeled V1. That is the one you want to replace. If you pull a preamp tube, you will see a circle of pins, with one missing, sorta like a MIDI plug. It will only slide into the tube socket one way. Even Drew can do it.

It does have a tube chart. What does the Tung Sol do differently that the original Engl pretube? The tubes came in the amp already, the tubes in the pictures were spares from Engl.

I asked ryan to make me a clip or two with a Samson C01U Mic i was considering picking up, so if thats just the mic in front of the cab, i'm gonna be ordering one soon. heh.
