Thumbs up I bought a TS7

I noticed one of these bad boys on the shelf at my favourite local music store, and bought it. I've been hearing good things about these, and thought I'd try one out. And it was only 50€, so why not? It feels pretty solid and the locking knobs are a nice touch. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll post some thoughts later today.

I've been using an SD-1 (which belongs to a friend of mine, maybe I should give it back now...) and I was never really that happy with it. It made my amp sound really thin and harsh. I'm hoping this one works a bit better. Sadly, my amp is being fixed, and I don't know when I'll get it back, but meanwhile I can just plug the TS7 into my Toneport.

I took a few pics for some reason:

Vases? What the hell?

At least it's working

I might record a few clips later.

I love the idea of having locking knobs like that. I used to have an SH7, and the locking knobs were my favorite feature of the pedal. I wish more companies would try to do something similar.

Holy shit! I've been playing with it for about 15 minutes, and it sounds so much better than the Boss SD-1! The SD-1 made everything sound really thin and snarly in a bad way, but this thing is just smoooooth. It's way more transparent than the SD-1, it just makes the tone tighter and more defined, and gives it a bit of sizzle.

The locking knobs are indeed awesome.

No time for Bad Monkeys! This thing is going to Mr. Bonerhammer for a moddin' when I get some money.

Here's a short off/on clip. I've still got some tweaking to do (a little too much distortion) and a Line 6 is hardly ideal for this stuff but the improvement is noticeable.

(It's the one called TS7 off/on )

Not a huge difference, but I wouldn't have expected to hear one through a Toneport. Not half bad from what I can hear, though.
