5150 III clip

Hey guys,

I mostly lurk here, but i have gotten some great info from you all and I figure some of you may be interested in hearing the EVH 5150 III head with a 7 string. Jackson COW sig w/emg 707:

Wow, that sounds excellent!

I'm not even commenting on the tone of the amp here, but your playing, and the melodies, I love it! keep up the good work man, it's kickass.

I was a bit worried with the intro sound...

But when the gain kicks in... IT ROCKS!

Love the lead tone.

Looks like Ed got what he wanted with the 5150 III. The palm mutes have the same glassy, percussive quality to them that I hear all over the early VH records.

Not the amp for me, but it sounds great for what you're doing.

Yeah that's what I thought but it was like a year or two ago!
