While on one hand I'm wondering if this is why I like the Single I have so much, on the other I have a feeling that a couple years down the road a *sigh* Roadster is in my future... :/

Besides, at that time you can probably snag a used one for a decent price too! I talked to my buddy and if I send back the Carvin, I'm grabbing my friend's Tremoverb! There's just too much temptation to own a good Mesa (at a great price!). Damn you guys! The last Mesa I owned was a Nomad that I got screwed on in a trade deal, so hopefully this makes up for it. ![]() ![]() |

Nah, if I go for a Roadster, I'm going with a red crocodile skin finish for the thing.

Just to pour gas on the fire, I through all four channels of mine on 50w mode at a jam session this weekend (too small of a room for 100w). It sounds/responds almost exactly like a Single. The sound compresses a bit more, the bottom end gets spongier, and everything warms up. I think my new lead sound is going to come from Channel 2/Brit/tube recto/50w, because it sounds so unbelievable awesome like this. Thick, warm, and highly emotive, with way more sing than the old Marshalls it is emulating.

Hot damn!
I'm jealous! I want a Triple so bad. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it?
