Which multi effects unit...

Soon I will be getting a multi-effects unit, and I just wanted to know your guy's opinion about which to get. I've put the two I think i've narrowed it down to here, but if there's something you perfer then let me know.

Well, they dont make the GT6 anymore, so i'd say GT8. But i voted for GT6, cause boss is awesome

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

The only multi-effects processors currently on the market that I would buy:

TC Electronic G-Major
(TC's "entry level" multi-effects)

http://www.tcelectronic.com/G-Major

Lexicon MPX G2
(I have friends that swear by this one)

http://www.lexiconpro.com/mpxg2/index.asp

TC Electronic G-Force
(what I use, by far my favorite multi-effect processor)

http://www.tcelectronic.com/G-Force

These fall into the "if I had the money" category:
Eventide Eclipse 3.0

http://www.eventide.com/eclipse/eclipse.htm

Either that or:
Eventide DSP 7000

http://www.eventide.com/profaud/dsp7000.htm

The Eventides are just rediculous with the power over sound they give you. The price on those matches, however. They are usually quite expensive.

but they still sell it.Either the gt-6 or gt-8 would be a great choice. With some tweaking i have gotten some really good tones out of the gt-6

You could get a gt6 off of ebay for really cheap probably. That lexicon G2 looks intriging to me though. I have a Digitech 2120 that im looking to upgrade. Im looking to get effects and preamp in seperate units, unlike the 2120 where its all in one. And the lexicon looks like a good effects unit, plus it has the preamp built in as an option to last me until I save up for a seperate preamp. I think that might be my next purchase. Some sound clips would be nice though.

i'm actually saving up for a G-Major myself. no more stomp boxes to spoil my tone! :p

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.
