Hot Plate users

i think i remember seeig drew post that he called up customer support, and he had it plugged in backwards or something to that effect.

I have the speaker out from my amp going into the amp in on the hotplate, and the speaker out from my hotplate going in to my cabinet.

I'm pretty sure thats right

Yeah. I had it hooked up backwards.

Don't trust your memory here, dude. Go grab the thing, look at what the ins and outs say, and think about it. Where I went wrong was I was thinking, "Output.... Ok, my amp's output must go there."

Make sure your speaker out goes into the Hot Plate Input, and the Hot Plate Output goes to your cab. Do that, and you're golden.

I know, it sounds dumb, and my first thought was "I can't possibly have hooked it up backwards, I'm not THAT dumb," but I had. The dude i spoke to told me they get about three calls a day from guys who have done this.

Really? I haven't been near my rig in a while, so I'll fool around with it next week.

I really don't know how I could have it backwards
