Should I go for it?
That thread < this one

eBay: Digitech GNX 3000 Pedal Good Cond w/Box & Man. GNX3000 (item 160134350074 end time Jul-03-07 21:51:58 PDT)
That's only five dollars more then I was initially willing to invest.

I ebay now.

Sorry Toshiro!

And on a side note, I used to be the only gold member without a decent rig. Does this make me less special?

Oh, yeah. I just remembered!
I CAN STILL GET STILL LIFE NOW!

Congratulations. Now you have a rig that enables you to make tone that is better than 95% of the members on this forum.

You also got it for about half of how much I bought mine for. If you learn how to use it properly, it's actually worth about $1700.

how do the amp models on the GNX3000 compare to a podXT with all model packs (especially the BigBottom and Diamondplate models from the metal-shop) ?

I'll live, gonna take the shit 4-12 and use it as trade in on one of these locally I think.

That was a disgustingly good price though.

Some of the metal shop models sound excellent but the GNX sounds like real amps! GNX>POD if you're looking for the closest you can get to tube tones without tubes.
