PODxt owners, come feel the glory!!!

Hey guys,
I have decided to post my settings for the podxt. You must have the metal shop and fx junkie packs installed. I'm running this through a 4x12 for the record. Maybe this will let people see that that the pod is the mamma jamma and can feel "tube like" if just showed a little TLC. Hope ya'll can tell time!! Let me know what you think! Also you may want to set a noise gate, but I always leave that up to the user and how much "rely" on distortion if you know what I mean.

amp- big bottom
drive- just a hair past 12oclock(if you look closely you will see 3 pixels under 12)
bass- 1oclock
mid- 2oclock
treb- 1:30
pres- 11oclock
vol- 5oclock

Cab 21 Mike 3 Room 0%

Now this is the SECRET WEAPON!!!

550hz + 1.4db
1.5khz + 0.6db

midfreg- 50%

Mod- Sine Chorus

hmm... i think i will have to try this out. I always heard about the Big Bottom models beeing to weak in the mids to cut through a mix, so I'll give this a try.

thanks for sharing!

edit: why did you post the cab+mike? do you use the amp sim?

FS: Brand new set of EMG808's. Still unpacked!

Yes I use anything that gives me control over my sound. It sounds like the poo without it.

biggness - use the patch library feature here!

It's in the Site Features menu at the top.

I would use it but I do not have it saved as a patch because I lost my USB cable before I could save it.

You're lucky you only lost your cable... the actual USB CHIP in mine fried and I've been waiting a month for the local service shop to get one (it's under warranty).

Humanoid has a spectacular aura about
This was pretty good! I already thought that Big Bottom has no use at all.. However, I had to replace Boost & EQ with Screamer but that works ok too.

And I didn't know we have own PodXT preset database here.. gotta upload some of my stuff too.

You have five earth minutes.
