So i`m starting this thread for engl owners (esp. e530 preamp) to share their thoughts and tips and settings.
which outputs are better for what and with what it is better to use them and maybe some owners tips and secrets about this unit and Engl in general.

I have a e530, my usual setup consists of JCRG ----> TC Gsystem,

I run the Engl in the dedicated preamp loop of the Gsystem, my main heavy

rhythm sound is the high gain channel on the Engl with a TS9 for a boost, I

run the OD in one of the Gsystem loops...lead sound is the same Engl channel

with a maxon OD9 run on a separate Gsys loop, plus some reverb...it's a

pretty versatile setup, being able to switch between 4 sounds on the Engl and

then add 2 different overdrive settings to any of those sounds, all switched

with the TC.
