Pawn shop selling cheap Boss GE-7

Hey was at the pawn shop with my dad yesterday and as much as I hate pawn shops occasionally my dad will come across some pretty cool deals. I've heard several people talking about the Boss GE-7 EQ pedal and love it. I'm using a 6505 (have I ever mentioned I love it?) and would be very curious to see if this pedal can tweak it to make it sound even better. This pedal is in flawless condition and it's selling for $40. Should I snag it?....I was also reading that their is a sniper mod that is supposed to make it even better.

Of course I don't trust pawn shops so I'll be sure to try it out on something before I get it.

If it's not worth it I'll just go and buy some cd's instead.lol Been thinking of checking out some Mastodon.

Ah, the suffering. The sweet suffering.

I've got one sitting here (it's a friend's, but I've had it for over a year now ) and it's a good pedal. I mostly use it in front of amps or my Toneport. In front of a Marshall silver Jubilee it made a huge difference in tone. I had my guitar tuned to G and I cut the bass a lot and boosted the mids, and it was djent-central! If you do get it, try it both in the FX loop and in front of the amp.

Yeah, i've tried a GE-10? I think.. it was the one that had 3-4 more bands in front of my 5150. you can get some nice improvements with it. 40$ is a steal for that.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

I've heard that EQs make wonders for your sound! And I personally think it would absolutely kill in front a 5150!

Up the shut fuck, you must.

Cory think of it this way, if it doesn't work out for you you can sell it for 60 bucks or more and profit from it.

It's definitely worth it! An EQ in the loop of an amp is like having 7 more knobs to play with

I know that sniper mod too!!! Good stuff! More range and less noise.

speaking of the sniper mod this one came with the paper work saying it's already included. Damn I think I'll be going to pawn shops more often. I mean it does have a few scratches on the front of the pedal but that doesn't mean shit it's not like I'm putting this pedal in a beauty pagent or anything as long as it works I'm one happy camper.

Didn't get to try it out yet not at the house yet but I'll definately be trying it out soon.
