My Keely Mod Ulra Plus Ibanez TS is here!
It's arrived this afternoon, I haven't had the time to play for long enough yet but tomorrow I'm taking it to our rehearsal room to try it with my c7 blackjack+Engl Fireball. I know TS9 has only three nobs ands seems to be really simple to mess with but I'm just curious what settings you are guys using. Do you use it as a clean boost? Lots of gain? Just a little? Do you use it for solos only or for rhythm work too? Cheers,
Jan |

I turn the gain up around 1 or 2, just barely on. Volume almost all the way up and tone below half. Congrats on the pedal!

Holy fuck, I want to hear that.
7StringofAblicK-This is my footswitch. it changes channels on my amp - just like on a television, but I only have four channels.

Pretty much as a clean boost is the way people use TSs.

What the Lord said. Haha
![]() Personally i don't max my volume because I try to keep my clean channel clean and not pushed so hard in front - but if you're using gain most of the time, boosting the volume helps a lot. The big facter will be using less gain on the pedal and rotating the Tone knob to taste. the more tone you ad the more 'bite' and attack. If set too high it can get brittle very quickly, so halfway is a good place to start. Enjoy - tell us how you like it!! |

My volume is unity (same on as off), drive just barely on, and tone just below half.

Unity volume, actually. It means that when you step on the pedal, there is no volume change.
