ALthough, as kev says later on (yes, this is an edit), if it is properly aligned, this shouldn't be an issue ![]() |

![]() ![]() | Are you talking about when you hit on the trem bar after hitting a note the note will vibrate? because mine still does that even with the tremol-no installed. Ah, the suffering. The sweet suffering. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I can still flutter like crazy on my JP7 which has an original Tremol-No installed. If your trem won't flutter with the Tremol-No installed (and disengaged), then you haven't got it set up properly. It's not a design flaw. You need to spend a lot of time (10-30 minutes) adjusting the claw screws in tiny increments before locking everything down so there's ZERO friction on the Tremol-No's shaft when it's disengaged. I think a lot of people underestimate this part of the installation or ignore it altogether, but it's a crucial part of getting the T-No to function as designed. The best place to go for Tremol-No questions and support is their own forum... you'll get your questions answered by Kevan VERY quickly. ![]() ![]() | It's only going to flutter if you have it unlocked. In otherwords, if it's not actually doing anything. If you need to flutter on every song, don't buy one. (but then you probably have more problems then being out of tune) It won't flutter with it half or fully locked. -W |

Short of that, I've had no problems with flutter - you just have to get the alignment correct. Screw with your set up a bit, you need to get it locked down so that the bar is exactly in line with the holder so there's no excess friction in the system.
