![]() | I love the ultra channel, I pretty much use it 70% of the time the crunch channel is great too though. When I use my Evo 7 on the ultra channel It can sound a bit thin and lack in a few areas. But with my saber with a blaze bridge it fills it up and gives me a nice thick rhythm tone, heavy palm mutes, etc. I run my presence a lot higher. Maybe try running your same crunch settings on ultra with the fat switch on and the presence and resonance up more. IMO all channels are great and usuable, but I just got a triple rec so I am in the process of comparing them side by side and the rec is in the lead. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i turned up the resonance and presence for a little while, but the crunch channel always has more body, and if you try to bring that body into the ultra via the fat switch/EQ it just gets muddy 3 cheers for free gear! That should give you more growl and body but not as much mud. "...and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon." |

I never run Ultra higher than noon, and with the resonance upped and the fat switch, it sounds quite nice. | |

To get a good chunky rhythm tone, I usually set it at 3.
