You'd probably have to buy a shelf anyway if you're planning on housing your pedals and stuff in the rack case. Or just velcro everything to the inside bottom of the case.

I have a CFX4, and it's stupid simple to program. Mario's stuff is rock-solid, affordable, and useful.

It can switch channels, you just have to give up one of the loops, for your current 2 ch Recto. For a 3ch + Mesa, it gets more complicated, and you might well be better off with the DMC or Rocktron solution.

There is always the forthcoming RG-16.



I use the Amp Gizmo, which is the function switcher without the buffered loops. This thing is just overkill for what I need to do.

Mike, that GRX4 is starting to look really nice to me, I like the price and it looks nice and simple. I wouldn't mind loosing a loop.

I've never been shy about emailing someone to ask if their product will do what I need it to do. There were only a couple of switching options around when I got my 3ch Recto, and Mario at Axess had one of the few that did what I needed without doing a bunch of stuff I didn't. He and I had a nice email exchange, and he modded my CFX4 to phantom power my DMC Ground Control before he sent it to me.

Most of these operations are very small, and customer-oriented.

Yeah, it was like $10. Really cheap. I keep meaning to send it back to him to get it modded so I can use the the footswitch plug of my amp instead of the switching jacks and 1/4" cables (he's got a mod and special cable that were developed after I bought mine), but it's been so reliable like this I see no need to mess with it.
