 | To all powerball users I was recently looking at a powerball. I was wondering if some of you ENGL guys could tell me how to tell the V1 from the V2 ? Maybe by the serial number or something cosmetic. Your help would be very appreciated. |

| I think that the noise gate is the only thing changed between the 2, I'm not sure cause I dont own one. my girlfriend says i'm totally METAL!  balls.  |

| Sorry I guess I didn't make myself clear. How can you tell if it is a V1 or V2. I have a chance to buy one and the seller doesn't know which it is. I would like to know how I can find out. |

| My bandmate has a V1 and the LED's behind the tubes are white, as opposed to the red ones in my V2. I don't know if that's correct across the board, though! |

| The main differences are the noise gate and the treble knob. You'll have to turn the treble knob on the V2 past 3 o'clock to make it sound like V1. (This allows more mids to stand out). The only way to know if it's a V1 or V2 is the serial. V2:s are 218233 and up. (They changed the logo on the front but there are V1's and 2's with the same logo). |
