To all powerball users

I was recently looking at a powerball. I was wondering if some of you ENGL guys could tell me how to tell the V1 from the V2 ? Maybe by the serial number or something cosmetic. Your help would be very appreciated.

Sorry I guess I didn't make myself clear. How can you tell if it is a V1 or V2. I have a chance to buy one and the seller doesn't know which it is. I would like to know how I can find out.

I think you might be able to tell by looking on the back of the amp for a 'V2' sign. I'm not too sure on that

My bandmate has a V1 and the LED's behind the tubes are white, as opposed to the red ones in my V2. I don't know if that's correct across the board, though!

I think that's just cos the red has worn/melted off or something. I've seen a few Powerballs with more white than red coloured LEDs

col is on a distinguished road
The main differences are the noise gate and the treble knob. You'll have to turn the treble knob on the V2 past 3 o'clock to make it sound like V1. (This allows more mids to stand out).

The only way to know if it's a V1 or V2 is the serial. V2:s are 218233 and up. (They changed the logo on the front but there are V1's and 2's with the same logo).

Oh right, fair do's. I'll also vouch that the noise gate on the V1 is fine, does the job fine!
