![]() | Anyone use a V-Amp pro live? Have any of you tried using a V-Amp Pro live? I am going to be needing to sell some stuff and I am looking at different options for a live, cheap metal amp. I would still need a decent poweramp and the midi footswitch. I use one at home and I love the tones and versatility but I am thinking that it probably ends at home use. After Simon bites that Skeleton’s face in half, he is going to rape that hydra. That’s how Simon rolls.. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The only thing I would be concerned about is the gap in between patch changes, assuming it's the same as the V-amp2 I had. It was bearable when not changing the amp model from patch to patch, but it was far too noticeable otherwise. Obviously this isn't much of an issue at home, but live is a different matter. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | I have a Vampire lx1200h head.... and the only thing it's good for is practice and line out recording.... I'm not sure how the V-amp pro is, but if it's anything like it's cousin... it's just not gonna cut it live. |

![]() | i know people who used them live and their vamps just died (it`s an unrelieable gear) the thing is that you need to have your personal band`s sound guy to make a good sound in mix with these things and use them in line, that`s the way for them to sound ok, but i think go with a pod xt with model packs it`s the thing that behringer tried to copy line6 pod pro)) |
