Why use the neutrik speakon jacks?
hey guys, i'm in the midst of doing a cab speaker replacement/rewiring, anyway, i have a mackie power amp and it only has speakon outputs and the old fashon post outputs, so i'm thinkin i'm just gonna use a speakon connector for simplicity sake, but i have seen someone on the forum here put a speakon connector for the input jack, i also saw on a website that if you use over 500 watts, you should use a speakon connector which got me to thinkin, what are the advantages to using a speakon jack?
