NEED SERIOUS HELP WITH CRAZY RIG SETUP!!! -MIDI CONTROLLERS!
ok, so heres the quick rundown. with my setup for my band, i guitar with a roland synth pickup. this signal is split and sent to 2 midi units (vg-8, gr-30) and the synth tones come out of my combo vetta while the dry guitar tone runs into a second vetta. my question: is it possible to have a midi foot controller to control patch switching for all 4 units (the two midis and the 2 vettas)? this would save me so much trouble if i could just hit one pedal and it'd switch all of the banks at the same time as opposed to dancing around switching each one individually. PLEASE HELP if you have any knowledge of midi controllers!

If the Vettas have MIDI input then that can definitely be done. You need to set each unit to listen for patch change messages on a certain MIDI channel and set your foot controller to send patch changes on that channel.

yeah all units have a midi in and out, and im not terribly comfortable with midi coding, but i know some people who know a thing or two about it. could i use the vetta floorboard to trigger the switches you think?
