Powerball connections
I'm getting an Xpression next week with a Behringer fbc1010(all for 300 euro!!), and I'm using a Powerball. I wanted to know what i should doto connect everything by midi...
Should I buy something like the Engl z-11 to change preset on the xpression and channel at the same time? I was thinking of buying a TS9 tubescreamer for the powerball high-gain settings since i heard Bulb getting a +++++ tone out of it...and even because I'm still not amazed by the powerball tone as right now. What should I do? I don't have that much money to get something like the gcx ground control for now...should I wait, or any alternatives? |

The FCB1010 is able to switch channels so you won't need the z-11. If you don't want to have another set of cables running to your amp you can still use midi switcher from nobels

the problem is that the powerball needs not only the relay to siwtch channel, but even to change high gain/lo gain and Focused/Open mid...and the 2 master volumes..

the FCB1010 has 2 relays, right? and as far as I know you can use both of them via a single stereo-cable so you can use it to switch 2 or the powerballs 4 switching-functions, but not all 4

The Behringer's relays are shit... they're not latching - they're momentary.
