PODxt Live buzzing? Help
OK, so when I use a guitar/bass with passive electronics, I have no problem. When I use a guitar/bass with active electronics, I get lots of buzz in my signal. I've narrowed it down to my PODxt Live. It's actually part of the signal, so a noise suppressor doesn't help.
Is there a way to rectify this? It's driving me nuts. ![]() |

My bass doesn't do that. that's the only thing I have with active electronics.
Wish I could be of help. I do have a Bass PODXT Live if you wanna see if there is any difference. |

There's a switch next to the input that says normal and PAD, put it on PAD when you put in the active guitars. That should help.

the actives probably have a higher output that is too high for the PODs input. can you adjust the input-gain on the POD? if you can: set it lower until it stops doing it!
that PAD-switch that NegaTiveXero is talking about probably does exactly this. my Duncan Custom was a bit too much for my VAmp Pro at first, too but the VAmp has adjustable input-gain so I got rid of the problem in a few seconds |
