That is why I love my garment leather strap: it stays where you put it, but it also moves easily when you want it to. It is like the best of both worlds.

INTERESTING.
I DON'T FEEL THAT MY RG7620 IS NECK HEAVY AT ALL.
IT FEELS QUITE BALANCED TO ME. EVEN WITH THE STRAP BUTTON MOVED TO THE BACK OF THE CUTAWAY.

I have a REALLY expensive strap (Moody strap customized by Ron Thorn, has a piece of my flamed walnut top attached with the "T" logo inlay in paua abalone/pearl) but it probably works just as well as what Mike. Dave and Drew suggested. For me, it's the best one I've tried. I'm using it with Dunlop straplocks and so far no problems, keeps my guitar EXACTLY where I want it which is cool!

Here is a picture of mine, I love it:

yeah, that's how the M7GG3 is....maybe we're talking about the same straps?

only thing i don't like about it, is that i like to have a strap even when playing while sitting down, and the heavy leather ones have a tendency to fall off my shoulder when i'm playing sitting down.

when I set up my straps, I sit down and adjust the strap so that when I stand up, the guitar is still in the same position.

Noodles this is the strap WoM is talking about.

when i play standing, i have the bridge roughly level with my belt buckle, or a little bit higher. i find that, since i'm primarily a rhythm player, and am pretty uncomfortable in general above the 12th fret, that i don't need it any higher....it makes it harder to reach the low frets, and i lose a lot of my picking power.
