I think I have one of those guitargeek.com rig pics on my laptop, I'll have to look for it when I get home.

Have the CD's booklet? You can check the "Thanks" section and it'll probably give a few hints.
And while it's not recorded, judging by this video from the same period, I see a 2CH Dual Recto in the background. Also, I'm not sure how accurate this is, but I read somewheres that Clint used a Mesa MK4 for ALL of his recordings. |

Not exactly sure what they used at the time, but I know they were Randall users for quite a while, not 100% sure which one, but based on the sounds I managed to get out of my VMAX, I'd say that's not a bad bet.

I was also thinking Randall, but the V-max, Cyclone, Titan, or Warhead wasn't being made until the late 1990's.

Around the late 90s early 00s they were using the Randall cyclone and Titan. I remember that from an old Randall advert. Then they moved on to the rm module series for a while.
Back to the original post. I am almost certain JCMs were used on their first album. What really stands out on that album is how well they use wah and simple modulation effects to create some very unique tones on that album. |

Yeah I was thinking more around the "Home" era - very much Randall type tones.

I know this dosent help but clint is now with diamond. He plays a phantom. The other guitarist spot changes every year or so. I saw them way back in '98 and I can sorta remember seeing atleast one recto. Also got a chance to meet lajon and the bassist(cant remember name). Awsome dudes and awsome.tone back in the day.

Hmmmm.....on their retrospect DVD, Clint was using Epiphone Del Reys, not PRS. Also, I know I've seen John using a TSL 100 in some live pics, which was I think during the "Home" era. I think only John started using Randalls for Animosity and touring thereafter. I also remember Clint stating he had always been using the Mk IV
