Michael keene's live rig?

I think i have seen Michael keene from the faceless do this kind of set-up. What i saw was his mac book, something that looked like a power amp of some sorts, and his cab. Anyone have any idea what he is using? Thought it was kinda of cool

The only time I saw the faceless (in 2011) he was using a rack Pod, either the XT or one of the older models (it was not an X3)

Those answers are 3 years old.

I asked Michael on twitter what he was using for the album about 3-4 months ago. He was using GTR vst plugins. If he has a laptop on stage now I can only presume he is doing the same live? He didn't clarify his live rig to me.

he was using Line 6 Vettas live last time i checked. i highly suspect somebody using that technology would eventually shift to AxeFX by now though.

Yep, there's a lot of live videos on youtube where you can see his macbook running that Waves GTR.

ahah, i recognize a compressor on that chain. Not sure if he's using it for a specific tone (clean or lead's) + an amp or he's using it for all tones.

I like my guitar tone like I like my women, perfect rounded bottom end, cut in the mid section, heavy on the top end, and super tight.

Thanks for the info chaps, well now I know what he uses live, how does he set-up his laptop to run through all of it. Is he using an special cable through his effects loop in his head, or using some type of power amp to run his laptop straight into his cab? Any info would be yet again much appreciated, I kinda want to start using this set-up for gigs and such, seeing as i dont have the pedal collection that i used to have anymore.
