NRD - Featuring the AxeFX II

So I finally got around to picking up a nice rack case to store my AxeFX and other gear in. Now that I've got it all set up, labeled, etc. I thought I'd post a pic to show you guys. I use this rack for recording at home, and for live use.

The top is a Tascam US-1800 (I LOVE this unit so much, highly recommend it) which everything goes through when I've recording at home. Right now it's just got the AxeFX and a DI going to it. In the middle is just a cheap DI by Digiflex. It's got a bit higher noise level than say a Radial, but as far as it actually sounds, I'm quite impressed considering it was $20. And of course at the bottom we've got the wonderful AxeFX II.

When at home, everything goes into the Tascam, then into my KRK Rokit 8's. Computer is a Mac Mini running Logic. The headphone out on the device is linked up to a pair of KRK 6400's which I'll use for mixing but also for practicing before a live show or just tweaking patches.

For live, I've got the L+R from the AxeFX taped together to make a nice snake that, when I'm running stereo, will go stereo into the board. I can also just leave one out for when I'm running mono. The DI in the middle will be for acoustic only (for those few acoustic songs for the ladies ) and so far I love this setup!!

That's awesome.

Nice and compact.

Thanks man. Plus I just realized if I've got everything plugged into the Tascam live, I can use one output to the board and one output to my own monitor and get the same mix. Win!
