NPD Mooer Pedals x2 (Super small pedal content inside)
So recently Ive come across a new brand of chinese made pedals under the brand name of MOOER.
Did some research, and watched a few vids (there's some content on youtube) and was fairly impressed. They normally go for about 80-90 a piece, but I scored them at discount. I really love how little of space they take up, and thats the key for these pedals, because I loathe huge honkin pedals eating up space. Plus it seems on most of them, there's a mode switch, which is excellent and adds plenty of options to the spectrum. I plan on getting a pic next to another well known pedal for comparison. Green Mile: Screamer/Overdrive type pedal. Warm and hot modes, level and tone. The warm seems to be a more tamed style screamer, and can work decently as one. hot mode adds huge amount of gain and low end, which can turn out a tad muddy. Overall, not bad, especially for the price and options. ShimVerb: This this shines between the two, and as a reverb pedal in general. Room, Spring, and "Shimmer" modes. Level, Tone, and Decay knobs. Room sounds fantastic, Spring is a bit too "boingy" if you crank it, but shimmer is like an atmospheric euphoria, if you set the decay low, it adds a nice touch, but when you crank it, prepare to space out. The mini knobs are nice because they're hard to bump and change accidentally, but at the same time, they're impossible to see the settings in the dark. I did record some really quick (and bad) clips with the HD500, that I'll have to post later. I plan on getting the pitch and chorus in a few weeks, so expect another post for those. I like my guitar tone like I like my women, perfect rounded bottom end, cut in the mid section, heavy on the top end, and super tight. Omnium - Atmospheric/Trance/Ambient |

How do you like your ShimVerb? I'm trying to like mine so hard but I just can't. I got it to replace my Biyang Tri-reverb but the ShimVerb has some very artificial overtones that doesn't seem natural at all. This is with all the settings.
With that said, the Tri Reverb is an excellent sounding pedal!
