Compact and cheap Multi-FX pedal?

So,

in order to add fx in the loop of my XXL, i'm wondering if you guys can recommend me some CHEAP (price-wise AND best bang for the buck) and very SIMPLE Multi FX pedal. I know there's been some threads on this but maybe some of you guys are aware of what came out more recently.

Why a multi-fx?
I'd rather have a single unit than 4-5 stompbox.
Also, and most importantly, I don't need a hundred effects!
(like i would never buy a Pod, for instance).

The only effects i'm using / i really need are:

- delay (most of the time)
- noise gate (most of the time)
- compression (rarely)
- reverb (rarely)
- octaver / harmoniser (very rarely)
- tremolo (very rarely)

Any advice?

Boss gt-8 hands down. Built like a tank and very easy to use yet very flexiable.

Or even the gt-3, which is a little simpler, and probably cheap at this point.

If its just for the effects, i'd prefer the Gt-3 over the Gt-8. A lot cheaper and same build quality (mine was like a tank). But the TS is asking for a COMPACT unit, which the Gt-3 and Gt-8 are not

You could look into some Digitech multieffectboxes.

. or, you could check out TC Electronics G-Sharp, which is the G-Major's little brother.

you can get them used for the price of a few quality (meaning, not sounding like total ass) pedals, too.

Yamaha Magicstomp. Not much bigger than a normal stompbox and has amazing effects for the price!

I've got one. The amp sims (except for the acoustics, which are the same as the AG Stomp, for piezo guitars... WHOA! Fucking Nice!) are kinda shitty, but the effects are MAD. CDraziest fucking effects I've heard in a while. A neat gizmo, I love mine. (I only use it for piezo sounds, though.)

I'd still prefer to get a small Digitech myself, in this situation, or maybe a Zoom, something with an expression pedal.

That yamaha thing is more like what i'm looking for (size wise, features and all... I'm not looking for something with an expression pedal. I want it really simple).

Why you'd still prefer to get a Digitech?
