Hey guys i'm thinking of getting the G Major. I've watched the videos on the TC Electronics site and I loved every bit of it. But, does the G Minor pedal come with it? or do you have to buy it seperately?

Does any one have any clips of them using the G Major?

The G-Minor is not included. I don't even own one - I use a Digital Music Ground Control to change patches with.

I don't really have any clips of me using it, since I bought it after our last album was recorded. However, it's a really great sounding unit that's easy to use. I love mine.

Does anyone know of a cheap simple footswitch out there? I really only use 3 settings on my G-Major: 1) Noisegate & nothing else 2) Noisegate & Delay 3) Reverb/Chorus. So I don't need something with 200 buttons on it, the G-Minor would be great but its overpriced. Anything else like that but cheap?

I found a G Minor footswitch for £119. That is way too much for me. I'll probably not bother about the G Major now.

Why not? Since it's MIDI, it works with just about any MIDI controller, not just the G-Minor...

I've been using the G-Major off/on since 2002. Incredible unit, great tone and interface. I just refuse to pay up the ass for the G-Minor, hoping someone knows of a cheaper alternative.

If you just want a simple patch up/down, there's a lot of them. Like this, for example.

Out of curiosity, what settings do you use on your recto effects loop with it? I had some trouble with my PODxt Live in my effects loop and am about to step back into the world of multi-effects and want to try and eliminate the problem. I had phasing issues mostly.

Mix 100% wet, and you have to be careful not under or over-drive it. You've got a Racktifier, anyway, so your loop should already be serial - just use the drykill and you should be fine...

I know you weren't asking me, but for many years a Dual Rec was my main rig and I used a G-Major through it, and there something funny with the loop on that. No matter what I did it was coloring the tone bigtime and I was getting weirdness. I was told that some of the loops on those models aren't that great. It could have just been a fluke or but that's what I've heard. I'm sure Mike would know more than I about this though, just my 2 cents.
