Need recording gear for small studio..not sure what to get

Ok. At a 4 track minimum, I need something that can record my guitar through a
POD XT as well as a Mesa Triple Rec. I have a THD Hotplate as well, and I can use that as a dummy load. I have Reason also, although I've never used it much.

Can someone recommend the extra hardware/software I will need to get recording up and running that sounds pretty good too?

What else do you plan to record besides guitars?

Ps: this should probably be in "recording studio"

Sorry bout that...

Vocals would be nice as well. I also don't want to have to spend more than 1K on all the gear, but I want something that will sound pretty nice.

I'm pretty computer savvy also...
