I want a whammy pedal myself. There's some cool stuff I could do with one and it's safer than goin' crazy on my whammy bar (that usually throws at least one string out of tune).

On a similar note, I've got a Vox wah-wah pedal that I use all the time (I use it for the intro for one song, for the solo for another song, and for the opening of the verse riff in another song). I don't know why some people hate on whammy pedals and wah-wah pedals so much. Of course, James, you are right that bands like Dragonforce use them way too much and too much of anything is a bad thing. And then there's, of course, Kirk Hammett who ended up reworking all the old songs that didn't have a wah-wah pedal in them to have wah-wah live.
