i cant see how a metal neck would be beneficial, would anyone like to enlighten me to the reasons or advantages of having a metal neck... it just dosent seem like a good idea to me, i mean wouldnt it make the guitar massively neck heavy?

I guess an advantage is that the neck doesn't bow or anything. It can't be good for the tone though.

sorry, i know this is close to spamming if not totally. not my intent. i am a metal neck fan because of the sound they get. stability is second. no way do i hate wooden guitars or their sound
