New Cab Day | Belated | Nomades Custom 2x12
This one arrived on December 23rd but I did not have time to post anything before today...
This is my Nomades custom 2x12 cab. Here are some specs for those interested: - Loaded with Jensen Tornados 100w speakers JN12-100TR - 3/4 inch baltic birch construction - Aluminium casters - Ultra durable Lime Green polyurethane covering Sorry for the quite bad-quality pictures... I do not have any good camera right now and my cellphone is pretty old... Still here are some pics. Front of it ![]() Back of it ( 4, 8 and 16 ohms inputs ) ![]() Side of it with metal handle ![]() Look at those wheels ![]() And the awesome shiny logo ![]() This is my first custom cab and I must say I could not be happier with it. I have owned a marshall 1960A loaded with celestion G12T for several years and the two cabs are just like day and night. I had never really heard of Jensen speakers before ordering the cab. Actually, my first choice were the good ol' V30's but the guy over at Nomades recommended me those Tornados. I had told him I wanted something easier to carry than my big 4x12 but I did not want to lose to many wattage for gigs. Knowing that the V30's are only 60w speakers I was concerned about if I was making the right choice. Here is the beauty of those Jensen : 100w and (could not believe it at first) buand they only weight like 4lbs each! I had a thick birch baffle put in it which adds a lot more 'punch' and thickness to my tone too. The overall sound of it is just amazing! So rich mids and well-balanced highs and lows. I hated the Marshall for its harsh highs at high volumes. This 2x12 just has the beautiful warm mid-ranged heavy tone and tasty buttery cleans. Service was awesome too! Took only 5 weeks to get it although the average delays are between 2 to 3 weeks. Unfortunately, mine was belated because one of the Jensen had been damaged during shipping so they needed to wait for another one to ship. Anyways hope you enjoy! Cheers!

Because:
1- I bought an Hellraiser C-7 2- I started a Baritone Telecaster build 3- I've sent one of my Randall's module to get modded 4- I've changed the neck pup on my 006 Elite And thats only during the past month lol Too many project, not enough money lol. Getting a Nomade is still on my list, but I have hard time reducing the lenght of that list ahahah. And my Peavey Triple XXX is doing a decent job, so I'll just keep on bashing my head on a desk everytime I see a Nomade here or on Facebook lol |

Legit reasons. :P
I just changed my whole rig too and the Nomades was part of the new acquisitions. Dude, baritone tele build? O_O Do you have a thread on it or? I am in love with extended scale telecaster (7's and 8's ) "The strongest principle of growth lies in the human choice." - George Eliot |

Sick! I'll be sure to check this out and follow the process.
![]() I was playing and composing in Inhaled but we crashed the band this summer so I have been working on a brand new project since early september. What about you? I know that there is also a dude from the band Karkaos here, don't remember his username though...
We could make a SSO group for the Quebecer here, so we could rate the music shop that we have (would be pretty useful for me as I like to go in the shops of Montreal/Quebec when I can go there lol) |

Great deals with : encasedmetal, jefffrommtl, coop. |

Allez joindre ce groupe, je voulais en partir un exclusif pour le Québec, mais la fonction pour créer un groupe semble avoir été enlevée... de toute facon, le Québec fait partit du Canada, ça devrait faire l'affaire! |
