ATTN: European forum members - Lundgren pickups
I had an idea and thought I'd see if anyone in Europe would be willing to help.
For those of us in the USA, we have to go through Conklin to buy Lundgren M7 pickups. They will only sell them in pairs as a neck and bridge combo. At $400, that's insane. Secondly, most of us just want the bridge pup & that's only $200, i.e. that's much more reasonable. I'm wondering if there's a TRUSTWORTHY European SS.org member who'd be willing to help us fellow Yanks out. It'd be simple. We send you the cash (for the pickup and shipping), then you order the bridge pickups & mail them out to us when you get them. I feel there is a strong brotherhood amongst most of us & this could be just downright cool! Any volunteers? |

Well i could also look into it i suppose.
@James: Would you have to pay taxes or something like that? I ask this because you live in the UK. The currency is not the Euro, and the UK is sometimes considered 'overseas'.

If I bought it from within the EU I think I'm exempt as long as I paid taxes in the country of purchase. Like I said, I'll look into it.

Ok, well I ordered mine direct from www.lundgren.se and as far as I know, there's no shop in Europe who stock them. It worked out, including shipping, e210, which is $270 in US.
The way I see it is, if someone in Europe was to get a single pickup shipped to them, then additional postage costs to the States, it could run at around $300 give or take, so you might want to think about whether you really want to pay that much for a single pickup when you can get the set for $400. Has anyone tried to email Conklin to see if they would actually start selling single M7s? |

are the neck and the bridge the same? If so, you could just buy two from conklin and sell one for 200$ to somoene else.
