PODxt to tube head question.....

I want to see what my POD sounds like with my amp, but I'd like to go directly into the effects return, so as to bypass the preamp and effectively just use the Valveking as a tube power amp.

The question is, being that the VK is a non master volume head, won't that make everything ear bleedingly loud, or will controlling the main output on the XT control that?

the main output on the POD needs to be kept low man, that will control your volume

That's what I thought. Otherwise........Kabloom!!!

It should be interesting, I've never tried this before. I just want to see how good it sounds through a tube power amp.

I used PODXt in the loop of my tube amp for a year. It works great! Just make sure you turn off the AIR, and set your POD to Head/Combo Poweramp.
