WGS speakers - standup guys

I had this happen to me just before our headliner on Friday:

Emailed WGS Wednesday, got a response between last night and waking up this afternoon.

"Justin,

I will ship you 4 replacement speakers no charge with a pickup tag for the old speakers included. Please return all 4 of the old speakers and install the new ones. The new speakers are the same model as the ones we are replacing.

Please give us your shipping address and phone number to put the rma in our system. I am replacing all the speakers instead of just 1 because I like to be proactive."

From David Young, WGS President"

That rules

i'd love to change the v60 in my engl cab for those, but i'm leaving the amp untouched while in college, so I just have to hold the GAS for 2 years.

thats incredible customer service.
excellent

I like my guitar tone like I like my women, perfect rounded bottom end, cut in the mid section, heavy on the top end, and super tight.

Show me a truly awesome guitar for under $1000 and I'll show you hateful lies.

I'm probably gonna get hated for this, but I can't say I know the company
Nevertheless, that is pretty damn outstanding service. Very interested in the speakers too now. Apologies for my lack of knowledge, but how are they? How do they stand up against the Celestion, Eminence, EV, etc stuff? I plan on getting a Zilla Fatboy 2x12, and i'm wondering what speakers would work.

Seriously cool of them to own up like that. My first thought was, "Maybe I should sell my Vet30s, because a speaker should never do that in the first place." Then I kept thinking and came to the conclusion, they're stand up guys (obviously), and this is a one in a million case, which is why they're so willing to own up and take care of ALL 4 speakers. They're eating the price of 4 speakers by doing that, and that shows they put their money where their mouth is.

I can't tell if I just ranted or not, but either way to WGS!
