That amp looks so metal with that grill, no like the other vox.
I have to try it, if they say that it's better than POD, them... OMG! That's another amp that i'm going to try!

The best amps in the world are the Mesa Mark IV and the Vox Valvetronix. Anyone disagrees? My 2 cents.
With Tool, Killswitch Engaged and Chevelle influences, Silent Outcry was borned:

I have the first gen 2X12 combo and I love it. It's great for the reasons stated already. The only thing that bothers me about it is trying to play metal...it just doesn't have the same tone or push to it like a 5150 for example would have...
I'm planning on keeping this amp and getting a JSX for my heavier tones, but this amp is great for other styles. I think every studio should have one of these in there just so you can get a variety of tones from it. I do wish the effects setup was better...you can't set it to 10ms by selecting 10ms...you have to turn a knob until it sounds like its about there...and it probably still isnt quite 10ms... I'm surprised they haven't released or mentioned a NEW line of valvetronix amps....I've had mine for like....4 years or something lol. |

)The thing is, unfortunatly for me, i just keep waiting for the new ones... I just keep thinking : "the next one they gonna come up with is gonna be the one that's right for me! It's gonna better for sure, technology just keeps improving...". That kind of stuff. So i'm waiting forever and ever... ![]() I'll have to make a choice pretty quickly tough, 'cause i really wanna change amp. Maybe i'll just wait until winter NAMM. Or maybe summer NAMM... ![]() |

I'm aware of that, but it's not the point.
![]() If the head is sitting on top of the cab, the knobs being on the top at the rear, how are you supposed to hear (facing the cab) as you tweak the knobs? I mean, obviously you can place the head appart from the cab... but nobody really does this, right? |
