Im tired of my solid state I want a tube head ,need help finding a good tube amp

I'd go with a Peavey 5150/XXX/Ultra Plus.

Then check out a F-50 head - personally, I prefer the F-series top the Rectifiers, for crunch rhythm.

+1 f-50s get you right up in there for mesa high gain, tighter than rectos too. hell, put an od in front and the rectos

My favorite tube amp heads that you could find for an arguably reasonable dollar amount:

Mesa Mark III head
Mesa Dual Rectifier 2 channel
Mesa Triple Rectifier 2 channel
Peavey 5150
Crate Blue Voodoo 120 (some won't agree with me on this, but I love the crisp & trebly metal sound from these)

If you want to maybe get away from heads and maybe look at more of a versatile guitar rig, check out an article I wrote awhile back about building a rack system. It might not be what you're looking for, but IMO having a versatile rig is paramount, and you'll definitely be able to create your own sound.

I honestly think a big problem in modern music is that no one has their own sound anymore. Dimebag is the last guy I remember who really had his own defined sound. It was such an important thing for guitarists in the 80s to have their own sound, but nowaways that seems to have gone away. it's too bad.

im actually trying to find my own sound right now, and could you reccomend some stuff? I totally I agree it seem theres to many bands trying to sound like each other right now.

Yeah man, guys like Vai, EVH, and Nuno Bettencourt, along with George Lynch all head definitely different yet awesome sounds all their own.

I fucking love Bettencourt's tone, even today. He gets this raunchy friggin' tone and I just love it.

If you don't need channel switching, you should look into Laney GH50/GH100s.
