Where to buy single tuners, aka machine heads.

I am looking for some black tuners, 4x3.

Either a set, or sold as singles.

I'd check eBay, personally. Any specific make/model you're after? I'm sure there are some suppliers that have their own website, but eBay is usually a safe bet to find parts like that.

Well I am looking to save money so as long as they are black and decent that is good enough, set screw is at 45 degrees, other than that no requirements.

Right now I am looking at these ESP tuners, the total would be $41 a set: ESP/LTD Guitar Tuner. Single. Black - Single Tuners by GPDUSA.COM

The thing is, I would prefer to get either Schaller, Grover, or Gotoh, because I want to change the buttons out for pearloid ones.

Maybe I should hit up the buy/sell section?

Yeah that wouldn't be a bad idea, maybe post a WTB for those. eBay should be a good bet, you should get a decent deal and be able to find exactly what you want there. It's worth a search at the very least.

warmoth sells individual tuners for whatever you need. They have schallers, and gotohs.

Yeah, thats the only place I have seen that has them.

I don't know if the mini button the gotoh can be replaced with a regular sized pearloid button though.

And the Schallers are $70 a set, which is a little steep (these are going on a Chinese guitar).
