G-Flex and Recto in stereo?

I've got a G-flex 2x12 on the way (yea I'm stoked) with the hopes of running it in stereo with my Recto 4x12. I like the Mesa but it feels like some of the lows from my dual rec are a bit...unaccomodated...call me crazy.

I run the dual in tube (6l6+12ax in v1) and spongy on Ch. 2 modern, gain at about 2:30. My question is, is it realistic to expect the two to mix well or is it going to be "lop-sided" if I separate them? How do they compare?

Not to be negative, but I do think you'll get noticably different tones on each side.
I'd just stack'm up and get one serious wall of thunder.
Also the 212 will work great for rehersals and lower volume practice.

edit; Is the 212cab an 8ohm'r, so that you can run mono into both cabs at 4ohm total load?

It's got mono 16 and 4 ohms, stereo left and right 8 ohm...also a daisy chain jack. Mesa says I can safely run a 16 cab from my 8 ohm jack on my dual while running a 8 cab from my 4 ohm jack.
