^ I think "jin jin" is the harsh, scooped mid solid state kind of tone that characterizes Pantera and similar old dirty metal.

@Wound, the first few seconds of that video really show how recorded tones don't use a whole shitpile of gain, and when they were switching through amps at the end, the Uberschall, a Warhead (probably?) and the Excalibur, they barely sounded different. The Uberschall was just a bit fatter.

I'd be stoked on finding an old solid state head that does these kinds of tones well, nice score OP.

I had the footswitch modded and its being sent out soon! I'm really excited to get it!
the pedal will feature 2 effects loops separate from the amp entirely for my pedal board so I can have an AWESOME lead channel on one and then an AWESOME Djent/Scooped/Whatever I feel like on the other channel so that only certain FX affect one channel of the amp and vice versa.

also its the 990, still STUPID ....ing loud.Literally my Peavey XXL is having trouble being loud over it with both master and pre-amp volumes cranked while my Excalibur sits on 4.5.

OK! I found the video of me and my band(well most of it) coming up with our newest song "Encased In Ice" (its a follow up to our song Engulfed In Flames) its not as good quality but it sounds nice with the Ibanez S7420FM and other instruments playing lol
