Monster cables may sound great, but they have horrendous business practices. myself, i'm a George L's man.but back to your buzzing... i'm not really sure what's causing that squeal. can you get the HD147 to squeal like the JSX? meaning, is it just one side of the L/R stereo outs? |

![]() ![]() | not sure ... the HD147 is quiet the whole time, but then again ... it has internal noise gates which may be hiding the problem. it's my bandmates HD147 ... this application is more for me having fun after practice. what I seriously need to do, and i'm trying it tonight ... is plug into my amp and a direct input on my computer at the same time so i can record the cabinet and a DI signal (for guitar rig 2) for blending of the tones. the more i use guitar rig 2 ... the better it gets. that's some serious software. what i can do, but it's not the same ... is use GR in my effects loop ... when i do that i can record the preamp sound of my jsx then apply eq's and cab sims later. it also let's me record the tracks at a low volume level ... and when i want the tubes on 10 sound, i simply play the guitar rig file and it pumps the track through the power section of my amp. when i've done that ... you'd be amazed at the plug in and play tone of the amp and the through gr tone ... it's near identical and it doesn't color my tone unless i want it too. |
