OK...suggestions

Right ho, my rig is coming together...so I thought I'd ask for any suggestions as we come towards the festive season!

So far

Schecter C-7 (all stock)
Jackson RR3 (Duncan Distortion/Jazz)

Into

Boss GX-700

Into the loop of

Marshall DSL 50 + 1960A

I'm going to buy metalfiend666's Chameleon, and try some of Vince and Jake's patches...and I was thinking maybe an FX processor in the loop of the Rocktron, maybe a GSharp or GMajor, but would this be worthwhile? Maybe I should use the boss GX-700 in the loop for FX...shoot opinions guys, I'm all ears!

Sabaton

Well, by trade I'm a power metaller...ish

think a blend of amon amarth, sonata arctica and stormwarrior, with some judas priest and iron maiden,

although I also play a lot of death, black and thrash metal...

...so I'm pretty versatile...but I think my favourite guitar sound has to be Jani Liimatanien from Sonata Arctica's (especially that one Silence and Winterhearts) and Sabaton's on "Primo Victoria"

haha...I would if I could man...

on the Fear Factory subject, a POD or a Boss GX-700 and a decent power amp will do nicely for you!

haha, the RR3 isn't a bad beast, granted I don't play her as much anymore, but for some decent riffing its hard to beat...

...shred wise I guess it lacks somewhat, but a new axe may be on the way...
