Scott, out of curiosity, are all these repairs costing you, or is the shop doing them out of some sort of warranty?

I believe perhaps your problem is the caps charging. I have a custom built amplifier and it does the same thing.. some times the high powered tube amps take some time to get up and running.

Yeah but this was like....You know when your speakers start to crackle when you have a loose connection in your patch cable? Or because of a loose output jack on your guitar? Well it's like that, but not in spurts. It was constant.

Anyway, it's gone.
