Bash Sidewinder Triple

So I've been in love with the tone of the new Hate album (Erebos) .. insanely thick, throaty, raspy tone. In order to find out what amps they used I stumbled upon this video - a "making of".

At around 9 minutes, he goes through some of their amps, which include a Triple Rec, a Soldano of sorts, a Randall Warhead, a Soundman (?), a Diezel and something called a Bash Sidewinder Triple, which he is seen playing later on in the clip.

Now it seems to be a polish custom amp. Anybody know anything about it?
Sidewinder Triple MK 4 ND | Bash Manufacturing <- their homepage.

Looks like it's not even very expensive. The site says 3399 PLN before any custom options, which is about 8-900 euros if I'm not mistaken.

Does anyone know anything about these amps? Just wanted to throw it out to you guys

I know it can't all be point to point wiring but parts that are subject to wear like Pots, jacks and tube sockets should not be mounted to the amps pcb as through hole components. Makes repairs risky and time consuming.

Hello everyone,
as this is my first post, so I'd like to say hello.
I am pleased that the information about my amps reach beyond the boundaries of my country.

Amplifier used in "EROBOS",
this was the first version "Sidewinder Triple", MK1 version.
In many respects it was a simple, classic design and
many of its elements were assembled point to point technique.

At present I am finishing work on the latest version (MK5), which will be light years for the initial design.

Equipped with a myriad of different functions, and many of technical innovations.
Used components will certainly be better than those in the Bugera amps! Even Orange drops and silver mica caps.

The first two new MK5 amps go to the guys from the "Hate".

It is very possible that you will hear them on the next record and probably a lot of gigs.

If you have any questions, willing to answer.

I apologize in advance as a form of expression but as a producer (one person company), it is hard to write differently

aha, sorry for my English ...

Best regards.

^^this is customer relations. Congratulations Bash Man, your amps look really intriguing. I'd love to try one but since I'm in South Africa I doubt I ever will.

Good luck with your amps, keep up the good work and fantastic customer relations and I have no doubt the Bash Amps will be a worldwide brand.

Best regards,

As announced earlier I wish to present to you preview photos of my newest amplifier - Sidewinder Triple MK5.
It will be new amp of "Hate" band.
I would be grateful for your opinions about design and overall impression it makes on you.
Below I present it's main functions:
- 3 channels with independent equalization
- CH1 - clean with 2 modes: cold / warm
- CH2 and CH3 - each with 3 modes: full drive / crunch1 / crunch2
- Active F/X loop with solo boost and external bypass switching
- Adding headroom Brown Sound Switch
- Noise gate with sensitivity and threshold control
- Midi control (In / Thru) including: channel switching, loop bypass control, solo boost control, noise gate control

N.S.S. (Nature Sleep Safely) including:
- 2 level autosleep:
- 1. Automatic standby mode after 15/30 minutes
- 2. Off after 15 minutes of standby mode
- Wake-On-Play (playing the guitar wakes up amplifier)
- Power amplifier against no speaker protection (with load absence detection). When active, after detecting that there is no speaker connected turns amplifier in standby mode for 10 seconds.
Enjoy!

DO WANT NAO

I like my guitar tone like I like my women, perfect rounded bottom end, cut in the mid section, heavy on the top end, and super tight.

Here, for those interested, here are pictures of the prototype from the inside.
Due to the fact that it is a prototype, the PCB has made in entirely by hand.

I had Bash MKIV+ head and I have to say that it was really great stuff. I would say that it sounded a bit like Soldano, a bit like Engl and a bit like Mesa.

Great clean channel.

I switched to another amp only becaue I needed something, which is more simple. I have been using only 1 of 3 channels so... in conclusion I thought that someone else would be happier with it and will use it with 100% of its features.
