Should I sell my 3 channel Dual Rectifier to get a 2 channel Triple Rectifier?

Opinions please I like my dual but lately this talk of 2 channel rectos being tighter, clearer, and smoother has me GASsing. In your opinions which would work better for death metal. I can possibly get a REALLY good deal on the triple!

I'd personally aim for a 2ch Dual - if not, I still prefer the Triple to the 3ch Dual.

I personally love the triple rec tone. To me it was a bit smoother which I like, but they both kick ass

i played one the other day, and i was really impressed right off the bat, since im not a big recto fan, and then i stuck a maxon od808 in front of it and i was really diggin the tone. Personally i think the engl slaughters it, but then again i try to get every amp to sound like my powerball haha, however not everyone wants the sound i do, so if you like low end grunt that is tighter than a regular recto and sings a little more imho, GO FOR IT!!

TBH, I really dig the 3ch Triples, too. 2ch Dual or 3ch Triple > *, with the latter being a bit smoother, more Nickelback, in a good way.

Dude listen to Nickelback's production - that shit is fucking titttsss.

That said, I meant that it's warmer and more natural sounding.

I wish I could but I live in the middle of nowhere and the closest music store is an hour away. That and I have VERY little time for things like this. I can't very well bring my 1 year old daughter to Guitar Center My only option is selling my Dual to get the Triple and finding out if I like it.
