Exclamation ! DI-BOX - which one to choose?

Hi guys !
Does anyone knows about direct boxes ? about 2 years i an thinking to buy one but every time seems like there is great number of chose and now at last i made my mind to buy it, which one is better for recording / studio properties ?
Active or passive and which one of them?
there are di-boxes for 600$ its quite expensive , thinking about BSS Ar-133 - is this one good or not enough for perfect studio signal quality ?
Can you recommend one ?

I'd recommend sifting through the following thread, tons of info on pretty any aspect of this you can think of.

The engineer my band worked with on our latest CD used a Radial JDI and loves it. I'm not that familiar with DIs and definitely haven't compared them myself, but it might be worth checking out.
